A Joint Curfew Ronda was conducted by the General Luna Municipal Police Station together with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office on April 26, 2026, from 9:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

During the operation, several establishments were visited and interviewed to remind them of their responsibility to protect children and ensure their overall well-being. Emphasis was placed on the importance of proper monitoring and the ability to identify minors, especially in places that are not appropriate or suitable for their age.

It was also noted that some establishments were flagged for failing to properly identify the presence of minors. This concern will be formally referred to the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) for appropriate action and intervention.

The joint ronda will continue as part of ongoing efforts to uphold the law and strengthen the protection of children’s rights within the municipality of General Luna.
