The members of the Barangay Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System of San Benito took part in the capacity development intervention, “Building Gender-Responsive Communities: Strengthening the Barangay GFPS Through Localized Planning and Action.”
The training allowed participants to revisit and deepen their understanding of key GAD concepts and the existing legal frameworks that guide gender mainstreaming.
They also engaged in a hands-on workshop to assess their GAD Plan and Budget for FY 2025 and FY 2026, using parameters that evaluated the responsiveness and effectiveness of their PPAs.
